samsung tablet help

All the icons from my downloaded Apps on my Samsung tablet have vanished, leaving empty spaces.The apps are still installed  as I was informed when I tried to redownloade them.My husband wants me to 'work it out ' which I have tried and almost lost the will to live.I am a bit of a techno phobe the whole thing is not intuitive or time saving to me.(I once spent 45 minutes trying to find a road on my phone maps only to eventually pull out the AZ and get there in 3minutes).Can anybody help me find my icons? I still wont like the damn thing but hubby would be well impressed

Hi Kim. Not sure if this will be of any use. I can only related from the Galaxy S5. Do you have play store? Are your apps on  a SIM?can you plug into a computer via USB? Think you may have to do the apps manually if any of the above don't work. Good luck.

I have a Samsung Tablet too. A Note 8.I suggest you jump on the Overground train to Stratfordwhere London's only official Samsung shop is located nect to Westfield and the Olympic Stadium.If you pop upstairs... there is a well staffed information and techie department who will sort it for you.. free of charge I'm sure.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I think I will make it an opportunity to visit the Olympic park when my son has broken up and get the geeks at samsung to fix it for me.
