New Sainsbury in the old pub?

Someone told me that the pub by the park on East Acton Lane is about to become a Sainsbury's. Can that be true with one so close in Churchfield Road?

Do you mean the Goldsmiths? I have attended several events there and the gardens are great for children to enjoy

Or the Pub on The Uxbridge road opposite the South east gates of the park?

I assume the old Fullers pub on The Vale.  They seemed to be doing some building work on the outbuildings a while back and sadly cut down a load of mature trees in the old beer garden.The car park would make it more convenient for people who insist on driving to buy a pint of milk and it could be larger than the Churchfield Road one, which is very small, even by Sainsbury's Local standards.

I think I mean the one on the Uxbridge Road by the park - but I cannot remember who told me so I can't ask them.The Churchfield road one is just too tiny and poorly stocked - though much forgiven for being open on a Sunday at 0700.

Someone I know who worked there says a Sainsburys is to replace it.
