Nicky Kate is East Acton ward. You would need to go to that meeting to talk to her.

She has been known to turn up at Acton Central. Really want her to be there. Haven't forgotten the snub from a ward forum and her pathetic excuse to a labour mayor and the demo. She claims I assulted her. More like she assulted me and was on the receiving end of self defence. Let's not forget, everybody else is at fault.

Ms Crawford is on record, on several occasions, with regard to her supporting both The Oaks and the Hanson Concrete Plant Planning Applications, as stating:-"If we didn't grant the Planning Application then The Planning Inspector would only grant it anyway on Appeal."This is a great basis on which to make hugely important planning decisions which affect the community for generations.

So another case of it wasn't me. She's very good at turning things around to make herself blameless. Not this time. Time the truth came out. If I can't have one, I'll settle for the other. These issues need to be dealt with and nothing less than a positive outcome is acceptable. Who in their right mind would approve the Hanson app with a nursery next door. Having spent nearly three weeks in hospital, well, I'll let you work out what the medicos are saying.

Nicky if your medics are saying that your breathing is affected by pollution nearby and are willing to say so in writing we would be very interested. Kate doesn't attend the quarterly meetings with the leaseholders on that industrial estate but Julian Bell does and he told me recently that his daughter had to be taken to A&E at times when she was younger.perhaps the time has come to ask people living round the estate to come forward if they have breathing problems. I would be very worried if I had young children with asthma and lived nearby.

The Horn Lane Pollution blows down to Goldsmith Avenue and therefore Poets Corner, (smell the biscuits!).  So you need to widen your trawl of those affected by the PM10 pollution.Some time ago someone in the Poets Corner area someone offered to have a pollution monitoring station put on his roof - perhaps it is now time to do this?

It's not just asthma.  There is COPD and the cancer factors.My last CT scan has shown a spot in the lower lobe of the lung. Will have a repeat CT in September along with a full lung function test. Unfortunately I'm not on Roundwood suite, so not able to talk to patients. However in April last year, a 32 female was admitted with no previous problems. Diagnosed acute asthma. Where did she live off the A40,  in line with the cement dust.Now that Julians daughter has been affected, could there be a change of stance!To close the A&E at Central Mid is insanity. Central Mid has the largest Resp unit in the area. Question. Would one make it to another hospital further away during a severe attack that required a blue light admission? Asthma and COPD are life threatening conditions.

PM10 values from 13 June.  Strange I was admitted to hospital on 13th to 23rd at CXH and 24th to 30th at CMH.This pollution is slowly and surely killing us. Have your say at the Ward Forum tomorrow.  EALING COUNCIL ARE IGNORING US.

Is it true that the Council is going to remove the ward forums' budgets?I'm not sure of the point of them without that. the funding was introduced to make local democracy meaningful as it allowed local people to have at least a small say in how their council tax was spent.Mark you, the fora don't seem to actually MAKE these decisions any more. But at least people who bothered to attend, felt they were taking a concrete part in decision-making.What's it or if the money goes?

Sara I'm puzzled by this assertion. I was at the Acton Central Forum and the budget was discussed. Several people attended specially to make bids. I couldn't see how decisions were made and I understand the budget was underspent last year. When the ward forums were set up the idea was to give local people the chance to make budgetary decisions on smaller local issues. Is this no longer the case?
