Fears over public safety?

Didn't we all show our concerns over the closure of A&E at Central Middlesex Hospital and Hammersmith Hospital on 18 September, now resding the headlines on this forum there ars serious concerns about the changes.The article states that Northwick Park Hospital is not up to standard and needs improvement, anc how on earth can they call Northwick Park 'local' for residents in this area? I for one would not even have a clue how to get there by public transport, and when one is stressed because a family member is sick the journey would be a flaming nightmare!Mr Hunt should have a serious rethink because we are sleepwalking into a disaster and I don't care what the so called experts think. This is all about saving money and nothing to do with saving lives!STOP THE CLOSURES NOW

This forum is very quiet at present probably because of summer holidays, how cunning then to bring about these changes to our precious NHS service when residents have other things on their minds.We will realise the folly of these changes after 18 September but then sadly it will be too late.It is a sad reflection to think that saving money by closing our A&E depsrtments snd selling of hospital grounds for redevelopment matters more than the health of residents in West London.

How can they close a good performing A&E and send us all to an under performing one - see front page story. A&E closures across West London is one of the biggest shake ups in NHS history and seems to be happening without notifying local residents!?

Because the quisling senior management of the NW London NHS Trust care only about their job security before the health of the residents.They should be sacked for abusing the well being of west  Londoners - abuse by virtue of neglect.
