Lucy's Kitchen

For anyone who enjoys popping into the Oaktree shopping centre and is sad to see it go, a pleasant way to reminisce could be to sit and have a nice west Indian meal in Lucy's Kitchen, run by herself and her daughter. It's opposite Iceland. Lucy is a stalwart chef from Acton and well known for her wonderful dishes at the Acton Carnival. I've already had an oxtail stew here one day and Tilapia fish with a gorgeous sauce on another day(both with rice and peas) and it wasn't expensive. She also caters for special dietary needs, reads cards and bakes great cakes(!) Lucy was working at the Mau Mau bar in Portobello Road recently then hired this establishment and will be cooking here till the building closes. Her café's like a ray of sunshine in the centre and well worth a visit.

The hospitality's always pleasant and gracious and this has created a warm and  homely atmosphere in Lucy's restaurant. She also caters for parties by the way. Her mobile number's 07549169032. Loving the smell of fresh cooking from her kitchen as one comes down the stairs in the Oaktree shopping centre. Food on display looks so good.
