So there's a very real chance the current place will have closed even before the JR? So, if the outcome of the JR is such that the planning decision is annulled (is that the aim?) then the site will be empty for, what, a year, while a new plan is drafted and submitted and contested and appealed and contested and ...? Two years?I'm not saying it's wrong, I just think there's a risk leaving the site empty for so long could do lasting damage to the town centre. Once the current units are vacant, you won't get them back while new plans are dreamt up.
