Three times this year and twice this week I have found a dead rat in exactly the same spot in the middle of a concrete path towards the back of our garden. We discover it in the morning so its not our dog.Could it be a cat and why is it always in the same spot?

That happened to me a few years ago. Dead rat each day in same spot in the garden, and not much sign of damage. Not an owl surely? Is there any one out there who knows why this can happen?

Our cat used to leave dead mice on our side doorstep some years ago - cats do strange things.

It could be a fox, I found one in my garden, it was only once, but I am quite sure it was from the foxes, they had sucked all the juice out of it and it was as flat as a pancake.I buried it and the foxes didn't dig it up

These are quite fresh as if they have just died. Didn't see any blood but didn't look for it. I'm worried that someone has put bait down and my dog will find it. I once saw a squirrel running across our lawn with the lump of bait that had been put under our shed by the pest control chaps. Will never risk that again.
