Permanent piles of rubbish at bottom of Goldsmith Road

Hi, I've tried reporting the rubbish which is almost permanently piled up to the rear of Nara's on Goldsmith Road but the complaint form on the Ealing website tells me it's "Due To Be Cleansed Tomorrow" which it never is. I've been photographing it (like a mad man) to prove that it's never removed but I don't think the complaints get anywhere beyond the automated response. Does anybody know who in the council I can contact directly about this?Thanks, Dan.

I report it regularly through Streetwatchers, usually get a response from Cathryn in customer services - who is trying at least - and some attempt at clearing. It has been nominated a #grotspot (thanks Jon Ball) so envirocrime are supposed to go each time, and investigate the rubbish for signs of ownership.I reported the latest fly-tip on Sunday, nothing happened Monday, I reported again Tuesday, when there was much more and included pix, most went Wednesday - but not all - I sent FURIOUS email and tweet and it was ALL gone by this evening. Frankly I think the contractors don't take it all so they get paid twice for removing the same rubbish - why else would you not take all of it. Can't prove it however. I've asked for enforcement action and CCTV but not much sign so far.Tweeting often most effective - with pix. @ealingcouncil

I don't find contacting our councillors about these things the most rewarding method of deploying my not-very-ample free time.

So the good news is that our envirocrime officer is on the case and has sent me a long email (only cos I reported the fly-tipping up to three times a week!) detailing what he is doing and where he is targeting efforts. The tippers had better watch out!We are now on the waiting list for cctv for that spot but he's doing lots else before that.

Have reported it on several consecutive days - yet there are dozens of bags out there tonight - though the fridge freezer has gone - though that maybe nothing to do with the council.

This is fly tipping not regular rubbish.This afternoon there was what looked like a dismantled wardrobe as well as other rubbish dumped.

The enviro-crime officer is sending letters to all local residents and businesses. He says any local rubbish leaving out should then diminish and he can focus on fly-tippers. He is at least doin something!

There is good news. Councillor Patricia Walker said last night that she would like to hear from any resident by phone if they see fly tipping or piles of rubbish  left anywhere in Acton central. She compared Acton streets unfavourably with the streets of Hanger Hill where she has been campaigning for Rupa Huq. Not a sodden mattress or a pile of tin cans to be seen anywhere in that area. So, if no joy from Customer Services or you think the matter is urgent, call Councillor Walker. Her official mobile number is on the website.
