Read this e-mail from LBE if you want a laugh (or a cry)Dear Mr Millman, Your ref: 292952/110729 Thank you for contacting us regarding the recycling services. I am writing to you in regards to your complaint dated Monday 8 September. Brouncker Road is cleansed like all the other roads in the Ealing borough; this will be on a 4 week rotation. The contractors will deep cleanse all the roads once every four weeks, this deep cleanse process consists of the removal of all glass, fly tips, dog fouling etc. The operatives will also thoroughly sweep the road and if there are any weeds present they will be sprayed with weed treatment, the weeds will then be removed 4 weeks later during your next deep cleanse. This allows sufficient time for the treatment to destroy all weeds before removal. The following three weeks Brouncker Road will receive a standard cleanse which is the same process as the deep cleanse but the road will not be swept or the weeds will not be removed or treated. The cleansing process will take place weekly on a Wednesday and the next deep cleanse is due Wednesday 24 September.
