New bakery

Just noticed a new bakery ( they say they bake their own bread ) about to open on Churchfield road in the block where the wine shop is - Park and Bridge. Great to see another business open and by the looks of it a quality business .  A rival to Lavelii ???Hopefully the start of a re generation of the empty shops ??? and to those that complain yet another coffee shop ... Better that than empty The days of the butcher / green grocer etc on the high street have gone and this is what keeps places alive and indeed attracts other business

It looks like they've done a good job with the shop fitting so I'm looking forward to it opening. I hope they do something more healthy than just another cake shop.

Hi Peter that is absolutely true, The Mill bakery will start this Saturday. Home made food. something different-new, something old, friendly staff, good atmosphere, free wi-fi,etc.. Please pop in for a good cup of coffee/tea and a bite

Was busy this morning - what a shame Ealing Council hadn't bothered to take away the rubbish which really dominated that stretch of pavement.

Fantastic addition to Churchfield Road. Lovely baked bread and equally good cookies.  Open on Sunday mornings too!

Very friendly staff and their coffee is very good too. Does anyone know if there is more space downstairs?

I noticed there is a downstairs area with tables and chairs.  Hopefully they will have a comfy sofa or two and no damp smell like Lavelli's basement. Delicious chocolate brownies too!

I was told there is substantial downstairs space - but some might be used for in house bakery
