The ones in Sainsbury's have their quirks as well. The screen icon asks,'' Are you using your own bag? " I press "YES", and place the bag ready to scan purchases . . . .. . . . then machine voice would say, " Unexpected item in bagging area", and won't let me scan any items until I've called a shop asistant to sort the problem out.My solution is to not place the bag on the machine and they don't moan as much they used to. One thing I do find them useful for is getting rid of small change. I can take as long as I need, counting out coins and they'll wait patiently while I'm stufffing pennies into 'em.
