newbie needing advice

Hi all,My name is Ricky, this is my 1st post so i'll start by saying hello to everyone :)I don't know if this is the right place to post this so i guess this is more of a question above anything elseI'm looking to start providing private tutoring in maths (secondary level, possibly a-level also) so was wondering if i could post here, or if anyone could advise me on a more relevant place to post. I am more than qualified. I have a maths degree from a top uk uni, I am currently training to be a maths teacher and i have an enhanced DBS. I live in Acton (Alfred Road) if that helps. Could anyone give any advice on where to post or if anyone is interested?Hope you all are having a nice evening Ricky

Hi Richard, welcome to the W3 Forum. I believe the rule is that you cannot advertise your services, you need to use the classified section but you can respond to someone seeking a service either by recommending someone or responding in person on the forum or by Pm.hopefully you will see this before the regulators remove your post!

What Kim said...... but also subscribe to the ChiswickW4 site as what they call 'North Chiswick' is actually South Acton and there are lots of affluent parents worrying about their children's academic progress down there.........

You might look at some of the Acton Facebook pages - don't expand derwentwater, poets corner garden etc and see if those groups are interested.You can put cards up in Lavelis in Churchfield road - I don't think they charge and there are quite a few for classes etc.If you join the Churchfield community association, you can post on that email group - though not often enough to be annoying!
