Any recommendations for wooden window blinds ? would like local company to measure and fIt them, and be reasonably priced.

NOT IKEA!We used them and they were nothing but trouble - hard to fit, went wrong quickly. Its definitely worth paying a bit more to start with and then having less hassle.

Agree, ikea blinds are useless. Dunelm can be good for standard fit or maison blinds.co.uk for made to measure. If you want fitted blinds Hilary blinds can work out to be reasonable, provided they are on offer and you push them on the price.

er I have IKEA wooden blinds in my lounge. Have had them about 2 years or so and they are absolutely fine. Why pay more?

Two years isnt very long for blinds. My kids equipped their flat with them - some never really worked and all had failed in about three years.
so I have a year to go!
