Marble Mantelpiece, Local Shop?

Does anyone know of a local stonemason or shop that has marble off cuts? We need a mantelpiece or shelf that doesn't cost the earth to be placed above the small fireplace. All pointers welcome and ta muchly.

Is there a marble place (I think possibly for Gravestones) bottom of Alfred rd, opposite side of old Gala Bingo?
