Not surprised this closed. Having visited once and being very disappointed with the ice cream which tasted like basic supermarket own but at gelato prices we didn't go back. I am happy to report that it has been replaced with a lovely new ice cream shop called Fragola selling proper italian ice cream at reasonable prices. The new owner used to manage the Joe Delucci concession by Debenhams in the Westfield-we went on Thursday and the ice cream was delicious and the owner and staff lovely. I wish them every success- we will definitely be back.

There is an ice cream parlour in Ealing, Creams (I think), I have not tried it but it looks good.

Good news! Will save us having to drive the kids to Gelato Mio in Notting Hill or Chiswick. Hope they do hazelnut or peanut butter ice cream!

It is next to off licence. New brown shutters just put on . Everyone seems very positive about what i thought was a ridiculous idea !

Let it be good. Let it be good. Let it be good.My dad used to take me to Marine Ices in Chalk Farm when I was a kid - and that is where the love affair started.

Brilliant. I remember the original Tony's ice cream shop which was in that part of the High Street.

I drove by today and couldn't spot anything, where is it going to be? Is it Creams expanding or an independent? My kids can't wait, they're already making plans....

It's never ever too cold for ice cream.

People queue in the street in -20 degrees in Moscow to buy ice cream. Well, they did when I was there in Soviet times. Maybe capitalism has changed all that.

Sorry mate - I need it. And so do my kids.A swim in the pool followed by a Knickerbocker Glory with extra raspberry sauce? If they serve anything up like that up - I will be putty in their hands.(Although admittedly - probably not what Change4Life would recommend)
