What has happened to Angela Malik's cook school?

Anyone know for sure?

Cook school is still going. Its the deli that's closed for the winter.

thats  strange  i  did  tell my  friends  yesterday  to  go  to angela  whwn  they said  it was closed  i thought  for  good  need to  tell  people angela not good forbusiness

I read somewhere that the lady was looking for sponsers to invest, not sure where I read this.

Yes, sorry to notice Angela Malik's deli-cookshop closed recently - it looked interesting but was never ultra busy considering it was in a prime corner site.

She was trying to raise 300k or so via a crowd funding site.WHen I looked a couple of days ago it had raised 2k with 4 days left.

I'm not sure a cupcake shop was ever going to really cut it. These shops are pretty and certainly help with the perceived gentrification but they need to offer a strong product to survive.As for the cookery school, I never found MS Malik very friendly and the curry for me was pretty average. I'm a huge curry fan, but when I go to buy a cake, I don't really want to be overwhelmed with the smell of old curry.Carl

I walked past the shop yesterday and saw the post on the floor and wondered if there was trouble.  I think it is a real shame that they have closed,  I regularly used Angela Malik for take away, fabulous sandwiches,  cakes,  curry and salad  but tended to only eat in if I was with someone as they were always quiet. Carl,  I always found Angela very friendly,  she always came over to speak to me.Not surprised re the cup cake shop as it was always empty,  and the 1 cup cake I bought was so so.And yet Lavelli's is always busy,  morning till closing,  and the staff are not friendly (never crack a smile or a hello) and I note they have removed their comfy sofa seats so clearly don't want people lingering!!!  But they do good food and are busy which gives the place a buzz.

From what she said on twitter-cook school still going. Just the deli has closed. The Mill Bakery is superb. Im sad I have given up bread. The stuff they have is amazing.

Angela Malik tweeted yesterday to say her classes were carrying on. But the front page story doesn't look so rosy.Shame really, if true.

The Ealing venture was woefully overpriced given the high number of competing outlets.Only ever had a mango lassi there and it was of below average quality.

Walked past on way home tonight and the van was outside, being loaded up with items from inside the deli. So perhaps she is closed for good.
