Date for your diary: General Election Hustings April 29th 7.30 pm

The Churchfield Community Association will be hosting a General  Election Hustings at the Town Hall in the evening of April 29th - conveniently just over a week before you have to cast your vote. The candidates for the Conservative, Labour and LibDem parties have accepted our invitation and we look forward to hearing from the Greens and UKIP soon.We want to promote this event through all the local, Acton residents' associations and are getting in touch with these soon.We have contacts for most but Acton Town Residents' Association seems elusive. Does anyone have their details - especially for Patrick Driscoll who seems to have been a driving force.Many thanks and we look forward to seeing lots of the electorate at the hustings.

Is there a local UKIP Sara? They don't seem to have made any impact in West London. Presumably because West London residents are more savvy than your average voter.......

Not that we know of - yet. The 3 major parties are all coming, and hopefully the Greens as well.

There is! And his team has just been in touch: He is Peter Florence who is "a very successful business entrepreneur" according to his chap.So that's a full house of candidates - just need the greens and UKIP to formally accept our invitation.
