Freshways dairy

Dear All, how is it possible that the Freshways Dairy, which backs onto residential roads, creates noise 24 hours a day and has such prolific HGV movements that it brings The Vale to a standstill several times a day, is still carrying on without a squeak of protest from the council planning department? How does one set about putting some kind of limit on such inconsiderate neighbours?

if you do, it might be a good idea to pop down Eastman Road too. Victor Mishiku, Safestore, Bombay Duck were involved in a case against them a few years back. It would be interesting to find out how many accidents there have been involving their delivery lorries etc. and not to forget the constant damage to the footpaths at the junction.

Residents of Hatfield rd that back onto the dairy have been complaining literally for years. Recently we have made a bit of headway wrt to reducing the level of noise but the council including Councillors appear extremely reluctant to listen, answer emails or do much about it. We have had to do their job form them and monitor noise levels and give them irrefutable evidence. They have acted but rather weakly .There is still a big problem. If a larger area is being affected and then we should start a petition.

They used park their lorries on East Acton Lane evening/ night time but after complaints they just leave their trailer part and remove their number plates. This is known to the 3 councilors as it was raised at the last East Acton ward meeting. But members of the public present seemed to be unaware the trailers belonged to Freshways.

COuncillors for East Acton ward are Kate Crawford, Hitesh Tailor and Kieron Gavin. One of them could take the matter to the relevant officers.
