There have been numerous complaints of noise nuisances from the Horn Lane Industrial Estate (constant “bleeping”, gravel pouring, loud tannoy announcements, etc). If you hear (and see) anything then report it to Ealing Council. The best place to report an incident is to the Environmental Heath team (pollutioncontrol@ealing.gov.uk, tel: 020 8825 6633. Always ask for reference number and follow up after about 14 days to see if any action has been taken.

Hi.I can hear a PA system coming from the north end of Horn  Lane most days. Really irritaiting. The matter seems to have been going on four a while now. with the pollution reaching sky high numbers when is something going to happen and someone stop this.

Thanks for that Vlod.  I can hear these noises in Friary Green area.  I will report when I hear them.Six days a week?  In the most polluted area in London?  Shocking.  I miss Rosco White on this matter.  He's an asset to the community and I would like to see him back on this forum."The Council had a scheme to warn and fine drivers running car engine whilst stationary in Horn Lane."  Well, there are plenty of lorries who park up around Friary Road and Friary Green and keep their engines running.  This, of course, will only increase with the redevelopment/increase in population on the Friary Park estate.  This matter has been going on years now.  Why can't it be sorted?
