The Coffee House - Acton High Street

So, this is the new place that's taken over from Coffee Etc.Been in twice this week and the coffee is delicious.  Good service too (unlike Coffee Etc which I often found was 'service with a snarl'!)I've no connection with the owners, just wanted to give people a heads up.  They have a discount card scheme too which is nice!

If you go to their website you can sign up to the Coffee Club and get yourself a discount card.  I have several emails from them with offers on various days too.I filled in a feedback questionnaire and mentioned that I would prefer to see the cakes and biscuits covered, for hygiene reasons.  Next time I went in, they had added a clear Perspex cover to the counter!  Very encouraging addition to the High Street.

I went for the first time on Monday - flying visit between classes - and the coffee was fab.None of the yummy-looking calorific stuff is made there - all bought in.

I agree.  They serve Monmouth Coffee which is excellent. In fact, I work in Covent Garden and there are always queues outside the Monmouth Street Coffee Shop.  A welcome addition to the High Street which is looking smarter since their arrival and Raymond Bushell's redecoration (not sure about Portico though - one of those meaningless nonsense words).http://www.monmouthcoffee.co.uk/

I concur...popped in over the bank holiday weekend & have to say their coffee & hot chocolates were delicious served by a friendly barista.One minor point would be the place could do with a comfy sofa, as currently there are only white plastic chairs or wooden stools, which make the place less cosy than it really should be for a coffee shop.

I enjoyed my Thursday mid-morning cappuccino at the Coffee House. Good flavour - I could taste the coffee. The re-vamp gives the shop a lighter and more airy feel. The manager (owner?) and member of staff were welcoming, and I was served quickly.Good spot for people using west-bound buses now the stop has been moved, which I suppose should help trade.

Very nice coffee (I got a free one for signing up to their discount card on the website) and good service too.They are interested in feedback and offered us a form to fill in while there.
