Friary Park twinned with Wornington Green, W10?
For those who are concerned about the Friary Park regeneration, we should be asking the Council to think long and hard about the intentions and motivations of Catalyst Housing, who aim to replace the 224 homes with 450 to 650 flats. Catalyst are promoting their proposal as something wonderful for Acton Central. If their previous and currently still-being-built project at Wornington Green in W10 is anything to go by, questions MUST be asked at a higher level than the residents. Judge for yourself...here are a few websites with information about this very new and yet unfinished housing estate which leaves lots and lots to be desired. Not only are the residents putting up with inadequate building works, it's worse than it was previously and has no longevity in workmanship and design. Whats's more, Catalyst were fined £9,000 in August for breach of planning conditions.
