Oh my goodness!I cannot remember another election like this. Amazing how wrong the polls got it for all these weeks. My view is this is all about the SNP. People just weren't prepared to allow them to have de facto control of Westminster. Second surprise that Rupa Huq got in given the national result. Congratulations to her and sincere wishes that this works out well for us locally. Time to build bridges now and try to all work together

Turn out of 71.5% in Ealing Central and Acton - about 6% higher than even other Ealing seats and c 15% above Sunderland (the only other one I can remember)That in itself is a good result!

Depressing more like. Bye bye Ealing and Charing Cross hospitals. Although it's early yet so we will see.
