phoneline problem Goldsmith Avenue

We still seem to have internet, but our phone or our phone line doesn't seem to be working. Does anyone have a normal plug in phone we could borrow for half an hour in order to test it? There is no dial tone on our phones (all stupid wireless ones) and when we ring home from another number we get an engaged signal.Does anyone have any ideas?

Yes thanks we have checked everything. It now appears that when our Sky TV is turned on, the phoneline doesn't work. Does anyone know of a good engineer who could sort this out for us?

If you are on line and the broadband is connected to phone socket the line is okcheck that you're master phone is plugged in to electric socket and switched on.
