Stolen cards found

Long shot I know but we have found cards belonging to Hannah Falconer whilst clearing our garden. Suspect it's a local woman who may have had her bag snatched and contents have been dumped. Does any one know who she might be? Please pm.

Ring 101, give the name on the cards to the operator. They can then see if the person has reported a crime. If so it makes them potential evidence as opposed to lost property.Officers should be dispatched to come and collect, if necessary.Forensic opportunity, and all that

Contacting the card issuer might be the best route.Often there is a phone number on the back.

I found a handful of cards in our garden a few years ago; the chap on the desk at Acton Police Station did take them in, but sighed deeply at the paperwork...

Met Police may or may not take them in. They introduced a new approach to lost properly in Sept 2014. Probably best to return them to their owner via her bank.http://content.met.police.uk/Article/Lost-and-Found-Property/1400026020816/Lostandfound
