Planning Committee Hearing this Wed 3 June

The planning application for the 100 bedroomed hotel and two blocks of flats planned to blight West Acton is being heard again at Ealing Town Hall this coming Wednesday 3rd June at 7pm.  This affects all of us.  We need to voice our objection to this application.  In order to show support for West Acton Residents’ Association (WARA), these are the ways in which you can help:Join other residents this Wednesday 3rd June from 6.15 to 6.45pm for a demonstration outside Ealing Town Hall.Attend the Planning Committee Hearing straight afterwards at 7pm, where other major Acton planning applications affecting our members will also be heard.Sign the WARA petition  https://www.change.org/p/boris-johnson-ealing-council-aggmore-cocosis-save-our-green-corridor-we-need-to-breathe?utm_medium=email&utm_source=notification&utm_campaign=new_petition_recruit#shareThe impact of this particular planning application will have many repercussions for Acton as a whole.  Please join us on Wednesday with WARA residents, who will be out in force.

You couldn't make it up!  Their project manager assaulting a campaigner was a very ineffective way of keeping a low profile.  Now we can all know..

Victor is fine I think I'm sure he will want to respond himself. His assailant was the project manager for Peace haven acting for the owner. The Planning Application was deferred because of the incident and because Peacehaven was described as a hostel when there is plenty of evidence it was converted to flats without planning permission. Owners didn't want Councillors paying too much attention.

At the Saturday Site visit to Peacehaven on Pierrepoint Road, Victor Mishku was assaulted by employees of the Developer. Those of us who know Victor will know of his politeness and respectful good manners, so are shocked. This assault was witnessed by two Councillors, members of the Planning Committee. The Application is due to be heard next Wednesday,along with the Premier Inn and Messaline Avenue Applications. If interested, why not come along for the public meeting which begins promptly at 7pm.
