South Acton Heritage Project -front page-living history!
Had an amazing afternoon on the 29th May 2015 watching the unveiling of the sofa and footstool on Berrymede Rec (Near playground)! You have to see it to believe it! A sofa and footstall made of stone that is soft to the touch! The whole of life itself is on that sofa, like your grandmother's patchwork quilt with patches of all aspects of South Acton's heritage and local history. It is so worth a visit - so pop along to Bollo Bridge Road, where the 440 runs, and see a wonderful piece of living history.(Near All Saint's Church)
