The planning application for development of 24 Messaline Avenue W3 was withdrawn, officially so there could be another site visit.David Tennant (not the actor), who has been coordinating the residents’ objections, has shed some light on this. On the Monday of the week of the meeting, David called the planner in charge to ask if the residents’ letters of objection had been forwarded to all the members of the planning committee. He was told that this had not happened but was informed that he could do it, which he did.It would seem the planners had intended to advise the committee to approve the plans, without letting them see the objections.
