Parcel delivery problems with Royal Mail?

I have done a fair bit of internet shopping recently - hadn't done much for a while but now Amazon say they will pay their taxes, am more inspired.Until recently, I've never had a delivery problem. But in the last month, THREE parcels have not arrived. One from AllBeauty and two from different Amazon Marketplace suppliers - the latter ordered on the same day.I wonder if it is a problem along the chain or something nefarious at Acton Sorting Office. Seems a strange coincidence.Deliveries from the (much loathed) Yodel have been fine.Anyone else experiencing similar?

One of the marketplace vendors said he had had some problems with Royal Mail, said he'd send another one - which is already here - but of course recorded and therefore expensive. Impressive though.

It's all going to hell in a handcart. I posted some family postcards to my brother-in-law in Sheffield ten days ago. The envelope arrived the next day, but somebody had opened it at the sorting office, no doubt thinking it contained banknotes or some such, and not bothered to put the postcards back on resealing it. They are irreplaceable though of no value to anyone else.Bastards.

I will be opening an independent postal store on Churchfiled road next month, Post & Packing.  You will be able to have parcels delivered there for a small fee.

Hi Sara.  I suggest you try the click & collect option that most internet companies use now. There are a number of local shops that offer click & collect, you just pop by when it's convenient for you and the same applies for returns.  No waiting around at home either.
