What has happened to Doris?

I don't see Doris posting these days. Most of it was a bit Doom and Gloomy but were interesting reading sometimes!

Hello Dee!  Miss you on the forum.  Font of knowledge, especially on planning issues.  We could do with you here right now.Hope Life is good for you.  Good to know you keep abreast of things on here.  I can see why you moved!Unfortunately, this isn't a "new" administration at the Council.  Been in far too long now.  Our trusting public haven't noticed the irreversible damage they've done, as yet.

Tony.....just to say I am alive and well in Wales which is in reality is not far away.  The pollution on Horn Lane was a major factor in the move .all those PM 10's  ...... just in time with the imminent arrival of the tower blocks just round the corner... bringing yet more pollution.  Retirement what's that?  .I read the Forum regularly to keep in touch.........and it looks as though you are all being surrounded by high rise development which of course will bring in lots of Council Tax income for your new Labour administration.

Oh dear Sara!  I was responding to a question about empty shops on Horn Hane in front of Jewsons, how it ended up in a post about the missing Doris I shall never know!Not guilty M'Lud!Perhaps it is one of those senior moments!

I have heard that Jewsons are using these empty shops for storage, they have extended the back and there are loads of bags containing cement inside. This information came from a security guy at Jewsons.He said the buildings in front belong to Jewsons.They are a bit of an eyesore!

I believe she retired and moved westward.Maybe Wales? Not sure but a long way away.
