Richard, like minds, I was just about to post the very same thoughts! Or, even, Catalyst in cahoots with the Council will propose a 29 storey building and then try and plonk a 16 storey tower there telling us "we heard you, we took notice and we came down in height!" Technically, yes. Morally, so wrong. Integrity, none. Purpose? To make money. Right for the area? Absolutely not.As for the bowling green - very sad. New purposes could be a lovely paddling pool and kept-clean sand-pit for children. Very nice.
