Friary Park is suburban
The plans for Friary Park have been in consideration for some time, it would seem. I found a "density study" submitted by Alex Jackson, Planner, Ealing Council, in 2012. Look at page 50 onwards: https://www.london.gov.uk/sites/default/files/Housing%20density%20study-opt.pdfAlthough the plan doesn't say "Friary Park" you'd have to be from another planet not to agree it is indeed a plan for Friary Park. All the other planners seem to have labelled their areas, apart from Alex it seems. Perhaps Alex would care to tell us exactly where this plan is for if not Friary Park. Note.....the Planner says the estate is "Existing social housing estate in need of investment." It doesn't say "in need of refurbishment, redevelopment, regeneration" but investment. It is clear that the plan to update Friary Park has been in the pipeline for years. Have a look, because the plan by Alex Jackson is for a far lower, less dense one and the area is classed as SUBURBAN. Can Ealing Council explain this? Surely it's Friary Park! I say Catalyst have run down the estate since 2012 if not before.
