Homeless person under A4 opposite B and Q.

I often drive past this make shift shelter that has been there for at least 4-5 years, and some times see the person who lives there. I am intrigued by his story and the very caustic messages he daubs on boards to keep  outsiders away. Does anyone know his history or even how long he has lived there?

Diane,If you google 'spoon the tramp' there is a little sketchy info about him and a weird 'interview' video that shows a couple of young idiots purporting to have been threatened by him , but why 2 young strong looking guys would be so scared of an old chap like this that they had to run away is beyond me unless he was armed to the teeth which I very much doubt.

Some inhuman swines used to throw teaspoons in their dozens at him from cars at night and nick named him 'Spoony'. There used to be a video clip on the internet of this taking place, their faces hidden of course but I don't know if the clip still exists.I have often wondered how he manages but he seems to get along ok. He must be very hardy to survive the winters.

He's been there since early 90's. I remember my dad telling me about it as we drove past it.Having recently seen the message boards, it sounds like he despises people/life. So sad.

There has been a makeshift shelter under the A4 in that spot for many, many years.  Not sure if it's the same resident, but it's been there for about 20 years I think.
