loud pop music in the changing rooms and corridors of everyone active.

" Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and music is a matter of personal taste. If you are like me and do not appreciate being blasted out by loud pop music especially early in the morning, please would you fill in a customer comment card at reception at Everyone active. This seems to be a new thing that the powers that be are trying out but there may be others apart from me who dislike it.If that is so, please let management know your views. Thank you.

If it's loud in the gym, I ask the team to turn it down - and they do. It's not usually noisy first thing when I go but maybe at 1800 when the young things flock in.the corridors seem to have Capital radio quite low level at the moment - not great but not disastrous

I'm often there early, usually in the pool. The only time it has been loud I asked the lifeguard why. He reached for his radio and down went the sound. Sorry to see you resigned Kim. I love my early morning swims. I've always been hopeless with loud music. It typifies me and I can hear or understand others.

Kim, thank you for your comment. I think there has often been loud music in the gym, but I think the new policy is to also blast the reception area, corridors and changing rooms. It is no longer peaceful at 6.30 or 8 am!

I told them when I resigned my membership that it was the music everywhere that I could not handle. I understand that research show that people work out harder with loud, fast beat music, which is why Gyms have become so noisy. Even the music on my iPod couldn't drown out the ambient music. Apparently the majority of members like it.
