Rude, very rude.....
I popped into Maaki News at 15 Horn Lane today to collect something. Never been in there previously. There was a new mother, with her very new baby (2 weeks max) in a pram and she put the pram/buggy by the counter in front of her, before paying for what she had in her hand. The owner said "put the baby by the door" and jabbed towards the door. The new mum quietly said "I don't want my baby out of my sight". The owner then replied in a gruff voice "well get out then, leave my shop, we don't need your custom" waving a hand to indicate "get out"!I tried to explain that I understood his concern, that the pram/buggy was large and his shop was small but I also understood the new mother (all new mothers feel vulnerable) and that he should let her pay for the one item she had to pay for and leave the buggy where it was! By this time the new mum was leaving without paying, very quietly I have to say. I said I thought he was wrong to do that and, you guessed it, I too was told to get out! I told him that I would be leaving my feedback in the usual format. Here it is. :-)
