Nursery

Hi, i have only seen old threads regarding nurseries so i wondered whether anyone had a recent opinion. I am moving to Acton tomorrow and will be looking for a nursery for my twin boys (2.5 year olds). I will be based in Poets Corner - any recommendations?CheersMia

Hi - I live in Poet's corner and ended up putting my 3 year old into Maggie and Rose nursery in Chiswick which I can really recommend. I work full time and really struggled to find anywhere in Acton that could accommodate my hours.  The local ones in Acton all seem to be oversubscribed and all the ones I contacted only allow you to do all mornings or all afternoons during term time.  Hope this helps.

You may find the most popular ones are over-subscribed/have a waiting list. My friend has struggled to get her child in anywhere.

My son is 11 now but we loved his time at Maples nursery, East Churchfield Road, north of acton Park. Don't just read reviews, nothing beats actually visiting a nursery to get a feel for a nursery or school.
