High Court judge rules that councillors were “significantly misled” by Planning Officers :-

Well, we're safe in Ealing/Acton aren't we, never happens here of course. Perish the thought :-"A Camden nightclub has won its court battle to prevent the pub next to it from being turned into flats. Koko, at 1A Camden High Street, appealed to the High Court after Camden Council approved plans to turn the Hope and Anchor pub into eight flats. I was just looking at the 6 Portal Way app, and realised loads of it was incorrect as to the current state of the surroundings/public space/walkways etc. It's a shame no one involved seems to actually check these things.Not at all surprised that many councils are duped because they don't seem to know anything about their own patches.

I am surprised at the lack of immediate comments so far on my posting. It is common knowledge and obvious that Ealing Council Planning have an agenda and are completely out of control - tax paying residents count for nowt. Remember, the next ugly, money grubbing and highly dubious development may well be right next door to you!
