New to the parish

Twice in a week I've been approached by over friendly young men on Horn Lane. The first wanted to criticise my shopping which included chocolate cake. The other apparently wanted to chat me up. This at 7.00 am on Saturday morning! Neither were easy to shake off. Anyone else had a similar experience? I wondered if there was some new sheltered housing in the area. I am not objecting at all but might suggest a revision class in appropriate behaviour to unknown women.

I think I may know who you mean as they are always wandering around Acton. I have seen them by the station and in the park. Beer in hand or hidden behind a bin in case the police drive past. Both to be avoided imo.

Disrespectful idiots need a lesson in manners. I  would give the heads up to any local bobby or pcso as you never know what their motive is and might approach someone not quite as assertive as you.
