I believe that there is a Public Health Enquiry to be held regarding the profound effects from the Horn Lane Industrial Estate Pollution, or at least such an Enquiry is being considered.I wish to notify you of my wholehearted support for such a Public Health Enquiry and request that it be held urgently, ASAP.The filth & pollution spewing daily from this Estate are long known & proven and must be stopped now.The current Administration at Ealing Borough Council and their Planning and Environment Officers consistently argue that the firms within this Estate have been there many years and have some sort of "established use." This is an unacceptable argument and incorrect, I would put forward that residential housing was in the area before the railway sidings, let alone the huge unfettered polluting expansion on the Estate which LBE has allowed to continue unabated ever since and up until this date.Also, under such stupid justification, we would still legally have plague pits dotted around Central London - because they're "established"!At the very least the new Hanson Concrete Plant should never have been given planning permission with its extremely close polluting (air and noise) proximity to residences. This entire Horn Lane Industrial Estate must be closed down ASAP and put to better community beneficial use and I respectfully request that the Public Health Enquiry proceeds at haste.There are too many fragile & vulnerable young lungs in the immediate area these days for this polluting Estate to be tolerated a minute longer.Please keep me informed on what is happening and I thank you in advance for your assistance and co-operation in this seriously important matter.I'm in favour of the investigation and enquiry into the Horn Lane Industrial Site. For many years it has been a blight on our lives, and causing severe health problems, including respiratory and cardiac disease. Also a cause of premature death by this vile pollution that we have to breath on a daily basis.I seem to spend more of my time in A&E being stabilised for severe respiratory disease, which I attribute to the pollution from the industrial site.I cannot open a window without finding grey dust covering shiny surfaces, which I am forced to breath in. My and other peoples health is more important than that vile Hansons Cement Batching Plant, which by the way, was granted on retrospective planning permission after they expanded, What a farce. I know who to blame, such as, a local councillor for east Acton and LBE planning.Further, the loss of the A&E at Central Middlesex Hospital, is the biggest disaster to befall the people of Acton. The hospital was six minutes away, and had a state of the art respiratory facility, which we have now lost. We now have to go to Charing Cross, Which has to rely on portable nebulisers and/or air cylinders to administer vital medication. Not happy. Lives are going to be lost due to the industrial site and the loss of a vital A&E.Prednisolone is the steroid which has some delayed side effects, such as, reducing bone density and weakening the legs. It can also make a person feel ill. Steroid is also in such meds as Symbicort and Seratide.which are given for Asthma and Emphysema. The preferred antibiotic is Doxycycline 100mg taken once daily, but 200mg on day one. If Amoxicillin is given, it is usually backed up with Clarithromycin. With the latter if a patient is on Statins, it has to be stopped while on Clarithromycin.Please close the industrial site and let us live.
