Ashley Samuel - Reputation
I am having some problems interacting with Ashley Samuel letting agents, who are based in W3 and I was wondering if others have had similar experiences and how they approached dealing with them?I moved out of an Ashley Samuel let property on 1 Aug. We reached a mutual agreement on deposit return amount on 21 Aug. A month later they hadn't paid up so I contacted them to ask why? They agreed to pay immediately but a week after that there was still no payment so I began a dispute process with the deposit holder (mydeposits.co.uk) to get the deposit paid back to me via arbitration (which is now underway but will take months to conclude even though the case is clear cut). Ashley Samuel indicated that they'd pay me immediately as long as I stopped the dispute process. I told them to pay me first and then I'd stop it. That was two weeks ago and they still haven't returned my money to me.*short version* Ashley Samuel owe me a mutually agreed amount for a tenancy deposit but seem unwilling to respect the terms of their own contract in order to repay it to me in a professional and timely fashion.Does anyone else have any bad experiences with Ashley Samuel like this? Were you successful in getting them to honour their contract? Any suggestions about what I should do?Thanks for your time!
