Simpsons waste transfer plant. Heaven help us.
This came to me through another local residentyou couldn't make it up:-Environment Officer, phoned me following my Complaint, telling me that she/The EA visit Simpsons fortnightly, however Simpsons have applied for and been Granted an "Exemption", which allows them up to 100 tonnes on site at any one time and they are allowed to store certain materials outside the big shed, in the open yard.So the new, lower limit on the tonnage they are allowed to process, which was instigated by the EA a couple of years back, is not really that much of a limit at all really. She sounds like a nice young lady, and when she enquired if I go to the Horn Lane Industrial Estate Residents Meetings I think you all know what I probably said to her. (not my words)I gave her a similar opinion on the EA's "efforts" to date. And LBE's.Thanks RW for your efforts. You can imagine who is furious. Just wait until she gets her scooter.
