The windscreen menaces are back at Old Oak Common

the girls who pounce at the junction and offer/threaten to clean your windscreen, are back in numbers.Luckily they are not interested in cyclists!

Where does that run Kim? I don't think it comes to Gypsy corner, and I don't see how you would get to Pitzhanger? Please enlighten me, would love to be able to ride further afield safely with my 11 year old son

You don't need to be on the A40, there is a shared pedestrian and cycle path along it. I cycle with my son to Westfield it takes 10 minutes from St Dunstans avenue, and to a friend in Pittshanger, 20 minutes. Its an excellent cycle route as you don't have to be on the road with fast moving cars.

I reported this to the police today using the non-urgent 101 phone number. They have logged it under CHS28070-12 October. If anyone else wishes to ring then you could quote this number.I'm sure that it will speed up the response if they get a few more calls..If you know Safer Neighbourhoods team contacts then you could go direct to them. I have forgotten, but also remember that it was complicated as the junction straddles two Boroughs.

What I don't understand about this is that after myself and others put pressure on the police some time ago they actually managed to stop this for many months. But now they are back and seemingly no police action(?)I suggest we all contact the police again..

It's on the a40 too, outside Carphone Warehouse. Surprised one of them is 'pregnant', although probably a belly cushion.Makes you feel so uncomfortable when BOTH pounce on the windscreen. Just turn on your wipers :)
