What's happened to the 207/607 service tonight?

I've just waited over half an hour at Shepherds Bush - one 207 came which I couldn't get on - along with loads of others. Then - nothing. In the end, I got back on the tube and went to East Acton and got a 70. Its taken me ages to get home tonight - can't just be the rain surely?

I had the same problem trying to get back from the QPR game last night, two 607s turned up in quick succession - one which I missed as it pulled away just as I got to the bus stop and the second let passengers off but refused to let any on, then nothing for what felt like hours! eventually got home around 7pm!
