GRIDLOCK ON TWYFORD AVENUE

When WASP's had a tournament recently, they arranged for cones to be put along Twyford Avenue, so it was not solid with parked cars.Unfortunately Twyford School, which has an open evening tonight, did not think to do the same.I have just seen a double-decker bus try to reverse up the road.I would avoid if you can....

There are always problems whenever they have a parents' evening or open evening, but tonight was much worse because of the diversion away from the High Street.  If a few cones were put out to stop people parking on corners & to leave a gap, so that traffic could alternate it would make life a lot easier!They seem to have finished the work on the High Street, so maybe it will be reopened tomorrow.

I think they had another open evening or event a few weeks back because I got stuck there in the late evening due to the number of cars on Twyford Avenue. They therefore should have been forewarned about the potential for problems.
