Oak Tree Cafe at Acton Central Station
A positive post here.For the last few months I have started purchasing my morning coffee en route to the train at the Oak Tree Cafe and the chap who works there is friendly, smiles, efficient, now remembers my order and cracks on with it before I have reached the counter. And the coffee is good.Compare that to Lavelli – since it opened I have spent a small fortune in there both take away and sitting in and the staff rarely say hello, thank you or smile. I sometimes feel like I am imposing on them, and they are slow when I’m in a rush to get my train (to be fair there are a couple of staff who are friendly particularly the girl with dark hair but she is the exception).I will still go to Lavelli because it is nice to sit in and they do good cakes. Although they have competition from the Mill Bakery whose new cafe looks lovely. But I just wanted to flag up the Oak Tree for take away coffee and croissants.
