April, check out Meetup.com, which has hundreds of groups covering almost every interest, offering dozens of activities every day in all parts of London and at all times of the day.I joined in the spring after being widowed and have been to dozens of fascinating things. I have met lots of interesting people. I particularly recommend the '45+ and not grumpy' group whose activities range from interesting walks in London, to wine tasting to holidays. There is an Ealing social group too and a Waterman's film Meetup group.It's free to join Meetup and most groups do not charge although Culture Seekers, who charge £12 membership a year, earn that with several meetings each week.
