Indian Threading & Beauty Bar, Oaks Centre - Where's It Gone?

For many years, there was a great threading bar as above in the Oaks Shopping Centre. I used to go there to get my eyebrows done every few weeks for a princely £3.00. The women there were skilled and the place was always packed. It was an open air kiosk with two chairs located in the Oaks hall directly behind the Sole and Heel Shoe Repairs and Key Cutting kiosk, another Acton favourite that's disappeared. Went in today to get my eyebrows done and it's vanished! Security guard and Boots the chemist staff haven't got a clue where it is. Has another Acton favourite bitten the dust or has it relocated? Anyone know please?

Thank you for your responses everybody together with suggestions of where I can now get my eyebrows locally threaded. It's a great shame that this threading business in the Oaks Centre has gone though. It was a proper little melding pot and very popular. Personally, I don't give a flying f*** about the proposed Waitrose. What I care about is the sense of community in parts of Acton that I have always enjoyed, represented well by Churchfield Road and its environs. I don't see how Waitrose or its ilk and the Oaks Centre development is going to make any lives improved. I'm happy to stand corrected if this development turns out to be good, but indications so far are not promising in my view.

Salon 100 at 100 Churchfield Road do very good eyebrow threading for £4.

Ellie at Pro-hands in Churchfield Road does threading - not as cheap as that but not too bad. And she is good.

Nothing left in there now except for the Pound shop. Really hope it's going to be worth just having a Waitrose.        Me thinks not.

I only noticed yesterday it had gone. No idea where to. The lady in the hairdressers opposite the town hall is good. Although opening hours are a bit erratic.
