Acton lane underpass

See story on front page. A horrible section of road. But I wonder why no women ? "A committee has now been voluntarily formed, consisting of 4 members (fathers of children attending Ark Priory Academy). The committee want action that will result in a safer underpass."

Not sure if anybody has taken any notice of the wall in question, there is a large crack running along the bottom of the wall majorly visible from both sides, the wall is also leaning at an angle. The only thing holding it up at the moment is a bollard at the end of the wall. I'm not sure it will be there much longer anyway. The owner will have to do something about it sooner or later.

South Acton Councillors have tried to get the wall removed as part of the recent works (which were partly funded by SA Ward Forum), but were unsuccessful. The owner would not cooperate.

Has the committee consulted the Assistant Director of Transport for Ealing? I've asked this question before but don't think there has been an answer from him or from the concerned residents. PM me if needed for help with formally raising this issue.
