Coming to Acton 2,850 new build homes....

I note from today's Times that Ealing Council have asked Countryside...one of Britain's largest housebuilders to build 2,850 new build homes in Acton.   Does anyone know where they are going to be built?

These aren't brand new homes, they're simply new 'replacement' homes. The South Acton estate will be slowly demolished and rebuilt. The tower block at the end of Mill Hill Road is the last to go, in 2020 last I read.

It's the £500m South Acton estate regeneration programme. Around a third of the new homes are already built and occupied. The rest of the estate is being demolished over the next 3-4 years.

No idea Dee but have they given any thought to the infrastructure?
