Has anyone used Streetlife.com as a local neighbourhood news/forum tool? Interested in whether it is worth joining or not. Seems quite popular in other London boroughs.

It probably works better in areas that don't have this resource. my brother in Epsom uses his streetlife site a fair bit. Seems dormant hereabouts.

Kim - most posts seem to be of the 'do you a local plumber?' variety. Traffic seems to have tailed off since its launch as judged by the number of posts they direct to me - I specified W3. Others may have different experiences. I think this forum is still better for keeping up with what's going on around Acton.
