Phone scam

Be warned people, there are people phoning around claiming to be from Microsoft or "Techhnical Support" who will try to get access to your computer. I have received such a call today and when I told them I wasn't interested they said they weren't selling anything then hung up. I am ex-directory and also registered with the TPS. DO NOT take calls from these people - report them to http://actionfraud.police.uk/

I don't answer the phone unless I recognise the incoming number. The message on the answering machine explains this and that they will have to leave a message if they have legitimate business. 99% hang-ups on unrecognised numbers.

I've been getting these calls for years and years. I just put the phone down. Microsoft will not ring you up out of the blue for anything, so it's always a scam. TPS doesn't work as the calls are always from abroad.
